Karen Bunner – Events Manager
After living in Bermuda for the last several years my husband and I agreed that Osoyoos was an ideal place to continue our hospitality careers. The laid-back feel and close-knit community reminded us of what we loved of island life.
Now in our 3rd season with Greenside Grill and most recently promoted to Events Manager, I am excited to use my years of experience to create outstanding experiences for our guests. I bring many skills from my previous positions of managing a small restaurant group in Bermuda, role of General Manager for Boston Pizza as well as a Catering Manager for an Edmonton hotel chain.
In my off time I love playing golf, spending time with family and enjoying the long hot summer days in beautiful Osoyoos.
Alex Bunner – Operations Manager
I came to Osoyoos in 2015 from St. Albert after spending multiple years in Bermuda managing an award-winning Brasserie.
My hospitality career started in 1992 when I attended SAIT in the Hotel & Restaurant Management Program. Taking this knowledge I set out on my hospitality path allowing to hone my skills from serving, then bartending to Operations Manager and shareholder.
We chose moving to the Okanagan for the warmer climate, closeness to family and being an avid golfer, longer golf season. After many years of island life, Osoyoos seemed like a great fit.
